Toilet project - consultation
If you have visited St Martin’s in recent years you will be aware that the toilets and rooms at the back of the church are in a very poor state of repair. We also need to offer toilet facilities that are accessible for all. We are therefore planning to undertake a project to provide two new toilets (one accessible), a small kitchen, and refurbishment of all the rooms.
To secure permission for this project we must make an application for a ‘Faculty’ which gives formal approval for the works from St Albans Diocese. A 28-day formal consultation period is required and relevant documents can be found at the bottom of this page. This includes the notice of consultation and the plans and documents which explain the project. The ‘Supplementary information’ file contains the most recent plans which supersede some of the information in the ‘Statement of Need’. Please do review these documents which include instructions on making any representations, should you wish to.
If you would like to discuss the proposals further then please contact Matthew Rheinberg (Churchwarden) at matthew.rheinberg@hotmail.co.uk or on 07736 276813.
