The Lent Lunches in Shenley have been taking place on Fridays during Lent and are hosted by different people to raise funds for charity. They take place from 12:00 noon to 2:00pm on Fridays and consist of home-made soups, bread, fruit and maybe some cheese, all served up with lots of friendly chat. The final lunch this year takes place on Friday 8th April at Dave O’Brien’s home, 12 Cage Pond Road. Please come along and enjoy the lunch while supporting a good cause.
